Portugal Open For Business: Follow Inspiration develops a disinfection robot

The Portuguese company Follow Inspiration developed a new product named UV Robot to automate and optimize large internal areas' disinfection procedures.

The UV Robot uses two technologies: UV Lamps and Air Purification. Ultraviolet lamps destroy DNA from existing viruses and bacteria on surfaces and air, an efficient tool to eliminate viruses such as SARS-CoV-2.

UVRobot is 100% autonomous, cleans surface areas in just 10 minutes, and acts in the disinfection of internal spaces such as hospitals, clinics, offices, shopping malls, among others.

The robot can recognize humans and avoid obstacles without needing additional structure. It's easy to use and maintain and has its interface that allows disinfecting the mapping of locations, enables the option to request actions in real-time, and receives data on procedures.
